The whole site, the Blog, the store, the Profile Builder runs on a platform called WordPress. Periodically, the WordPress team releases new versions with security and feature updates to the core WordPress software. WordPress is a very popular blogging and general content management software. As such, it’s security vulnerabilities tend to become apparent much faster than less popular software and makes it a very tempting target for hackers.
I have just updated the WordPress core on this site, so now it’s time to see that everything still works in the Profile Builder!
The following things need to be tested. (Explanations follow the test list.)
Explaining the things
So.. I know “Everything” seems like a whole lot and it is! But there are ways to cut some corners while making sure everything still works. The fastest way to test this is to go into every settings page, change a few settings to make sure that the changes you make are being saved and that the preview pane updates accordingly. You don’t have to test for every single option, just a few on each setting page!
That’s it! If you run into any bugs, report it on our bug tracker.
